NOW REVIEWING APPLICATIONS: Strike Teams
Thank you to everyone who submitted a proposal for the Montelores Coalition’s Strike Teams pilot initiative. Applications are currently under review, and selected projects along with next steps are expected to be announced in June 2026.
Strike Teams are the Coalition’s first on the ground implementation effort and represent an important step from planning into action. This pilot initiative brings together partners, landowners, and community members to complete targeted conservation and recreation projects focused on removing derelict fencing, targeted noxious weed treatment, and recreation site maintenance.
Projects are being evaluated based on alignment with plan priorities, community impact, feasibility, and readiness.
